Samara II is a 23–25 metre phinisi built in 2017 on the shores of Bira, South Sulawesi, and fitted with solar power for quieter, more eco‑conscious cruising. She was created as a slightly smaller companion to Samara I, maintaining the same focus on Komodo. Four cabins accommodate up to eight to ten guests, sharing two bathrooms, supported by a crew of six. The layout is simple and efficient, with communal spaces kept compact and open, encouraging a shared, informal atmosphere. Solar power reduces engine noise and environmental impact, which guests feel most when moored. Samara II also sails exclusively within Komodo National Park and suits smaller groups who want a modest, thoughtful boat with a clear environmental sensitivity, staying close to the landscapes they came to see.
