Samara I is a 27-metre phinisi built in the traditional South Sulawesi style as a compact but capable charter yacht for Komodo. Her design focuses on handling the region’s currents and conditions while keeping guest spaces simple and welcoming. Five cabins, each named after an island in Komodo National Park, accommodate up to ten to twelve guests, supported by a crew of six. Cabins are functional and comfortable, and the main communal areas are arranged to keep dining, lounging and navigation close together, emphasising the feeling of travelling as a group. Samara I sails exclusively within Komodo National Park, making her a natural choice for groups who want straightforward, friendly cruising focused on this one region rather than longer, multi‑area itineraries.
