Fenides is a 41 metre phinisi‑style yacht designed by Michael Schnadhorst and built in 2019 by Konjo boatbuilders in Ara, South Sulawesi. She was conceived as a platform specifically for remote dive and surf expeditions, with a layout and equipment tailored to photographers and water lovers. Five cabins, including a master suite, accommodate up to eleven guests, supported by a crew of around eleven to fourteen. A dedicated dive deck and a climate‑controlled camera room ensure that diving and imaging gear are handled properly, and common spaces are arranged to keep work and relaxation flowing into one another without friction. Fenides sails across eastern Indonesia, including Halmahera, Sumba, Raja Ampat and other remote areas, and is particularly well suited to small groups of divers and surfers who care about having the right infrastructure for their trips as much as they care about the breaks and reefs themselves.
