El Aleph is a 40 metre phinisi built in 2009 by Konjo boatbuilders as a private owner’s yacht, with interiors completed over more than 200,000 hours by cabinetmakers in Bali using century‑old teak and ironwood. She carries the feeling of a personally crafted home at sea rather than a commercial charter vessel. Five ensuite cabins accommodate up to ten guests, with an additional single cabin available for guides or staff when needed. The master suite and guest cabins are finished in rich wood and detailed joinery, yet remain calm and understated. A crew of around twelve to thirteen, including a dive master, looks after the yacht and its guests, and El Aleph is equipped with rebreather diving equipment, a rare feature among Indonesian charter yachts. Sailing across Komodo, Raja Ampat, Alor and the Spice Islands, El Aleph appeals to travellers who appreciate craftsmanship and diving in equal measure, and who want the intimacy of a genuinely bespoke, owner‑built phinisi.
