The Maj Oceanic

Maj Oceanic is a 47-metre phinisi launched in 2020, among the newest luxury sailing yachts cruising the Indonesian archipelago. Crafted on the shores of South Sulawesi by traditional Konjo builders, she was designed from the outset to combine the character of a classic wooden yacht with generous, modern living spaces. Her defining feature is the master suite, a cabin of around 120 square metres with 270-degree views, widely noted as the largest on any charter yacht in Indonesia. In total, six main cabins plus an additional cabin accommodate between twelve and fourteen guests, supported by a crew of around fourteen to seventeen. The layout gives Maj Oceanic an expansive, open living plan with large outdoor areas and broad indoor lounges, so families and multi‑generation groups can be together without feeling confined. Sailing through Komodo, Raja Ampat and the Spice Islands, Maj Oceanic is particularly suited to guests who value space as much as destination, and who want a yacht where the master suite and guest cabins feel more like carefully designed hotel rooms than traditional berths.
