Silolona is a 164-foot (50m) luxury phinisi and the yacht that helped launch the entire luxury phinisi charter industry. Designed by naval architect Michael Kasten and built to German Lloyds structural standards by Konjo boatbuilders, she set the benchmark in 2004 that yachts in these waters have measured themselves against since, pairing serious oceangoing seaworthiness with a deep, authentic sense of place.
Accommodating up to 10 guests across five cabins, three with king beds and private lounge areas, Silolona is finished with the founder's own collection of Indonesian art and textiles, giving her the soul of a well-travelled private home rather than a charter yacht. Her all-inclusive experience includes a dedicated dive centre, a spa room, exceptional cuisine and an extensive selection of tenders and water toys.
What sets Silolona apart is immersion. A crew of sixteen plus a dedicated expedition leader brings deep cultural knowledge to every journey through Komodo, Raja Ampat and the Spice Islands, turning each landing into genuine connection rather than a simple beach stop.
